On the occasion of the 30th anniversary, the 30th Anniversary 10″ EP is released on sunshine yellow vinyl (45rpm) with the 7″ edits of „Rhythm Is A Dancer“, „Exterimnate“, „The Power“ and „Ooops up“.Who doesn’t remember these legendary lines? The synth sound, the drum echo at the beginning, the pounding beat and the use of vocals with the words „Rhythm Is A Dancer“?
Snap!’s Eurodance anthem „Rhythm Is A Dancer“ was released on March 30, 1992. Within a few weeks, the song went around the world and climbed to No. 1 in the singles charts in numerous countries. Originally not intended for a single release, the track was only released a few days earlier, on March 24, as part of the album „The Madman’s Return“. The album quickly achieved platinum status.
The Frankfurt-based producer duo Michael Münzing and Luca Anzilotti, alias Benito Benites and John „Virgo“ Garrett III, launched Snap! in 1989 and were instrumental in starting the Eurodance wave with „Rhythm Is A Dancer“ in 1992. The hype still reverberates today and not a day goes by without the catchy tune.

Jive Bunny and the Mastermixers - Megamix 2023
Jive Bunny and the Mastermixers were a British novelty pop music act from Rotherham, South Yorkshire, England. The face of the group was Jive Bunny, a cartoon rabbit who appeared in the videos, and also (as a human being in a costume) did promotional appearances for them.
Doncaster DJ and producer Les Hemstock created the original „Swing the Mood“ mix for the Music Factory owned Mastermix DJ service. It was then taken from there and developed as a single release by father and son team John and Andrew Pickles. The name Jive Bunny was devised by Andy Pickles. Ian Morgan a fellow DJ and co-producer also engineered and mixed some of the early releases along with Andy Pickles.
Morgan was replaced in the early 1990s by DJ and producer Mark „The Hitman“ Smith. Jive Bunny’s three number ones during 1989 were „Swing the Mood“, „That’s What I Like“ and „Let’s Party“.
All three songs used sampling and synthesisers to combine pop music from the early rock ’n‘ roll era together into a medley.

20 Fingers is the name of an American production team consisting of producers and DJs Carlos „Charlie Babie“ Rosario, Manfred „Manny“ Mohr, J.J. Flores and Onofrio Lollino.

Masterboy was founded in 1989 by Enrico Zabler and Tommy Schleh (today also known under the artist name Klubbingman), who live in Baden-Württemberg.
The two producers, songwriters and also artists are the creators of Masterboy.
They are responsible for all songs and their „Euro Dance“ hits went around the world.
Since 1990 (first hit: „Dance to the Beat“ – still without a female singer) Masterboy sold more than 1 million records in Germany alone (or 21 million records, if you count compilations that included a song by Masterboy).
Some of the group’s releases won silver, gold or platinum awards.

Haddaway - Megamix 2022
In 1992, Haddaway was signed by German label Coconut Records. His debut single, „What Is Love“, rapidly became popular in Europe, reaching number 2 in Germany and the United Kingdom.
In Germany, the single sold 900,000 copies. In the United Kingdom, it received a music recording certification of Gold for shipment of 400,000 units. It later reached number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was certified Gold for shipments of 500,000 units. By the beginning of 1994, worldwide sales of „What Is Love“ reached 2.6 million.
His second single, „Life“, reached number 2 in Germany, number 6 in the United Kingdom, and number 41 in the US, and its worldwide sales reached 1.5 million by 1994. The follow-up singles „I Miss You“ and „Rock My Heart“ also reached the Top 10 in Europe and established him as a successful Eurodance artist. His first LP, The Album (also known as Haddaway in the US), was a multi-million seller which reached Platinum status in Germany for shipments of 500,000, and Gold in the UK and in France for shipments of 100,000.

Alex Party was an Italian electronic dance group.
The band consisted of the Italian brothers Paolo and Gianni Visnadi (also of Livin‘ Joy), DJ Alex Natale, and vocalist Robin ‚Shanie‘ Campbell.
Their most famous single to date is „Don’t Give Me Your Life“, a #2 hit in both the Republic of Ireland and the United Kingdom in early 1995. The group’s first single, „Saturday Night Party (Read My Lips)“, was an immediate success, and became an Ibiza anthem during the summer of 1993.
It became their first Top 40 hit in the United Kingdom, peaking at #29.

Boney M. was a Euro-Caribbean vocal group created by German record producer Frank Farian, who was the group’s primary songwriter.
Originally based in West Germany, the four original members of the group’s official line-up were Liz Mitchell and Marcia Barrett from Jamaica, Maizie Williams from Montserrat and Bobby Farrell from Aruba. The group was formed in 1976 and achieved popularity during the disco era of the late 1970s. Since the 1980s, various line-ups of the band have performed with different personnel.

Playahitty was an Italian Eurodance group, best known for the 1994 summer hit „The Summer Is Magic“, and also for other popular club tracks, such as „1-2-3! (Train with Me)“. Lipsync was performed on stage and in the videos by models called Marion, Sandra, Feline & Gabrielle.
Their main hit, a 1994 song named „The Summer Is Magic“, featured the voice of „Giovanna Bersola“, best known by her stage name Jenny B, one of the most important voices of the Italo dance/Eurodance genre, who also did the real vocals for the debut hit of Corona, „The Rhythm of the Night“ (all of the rest of the songs on the 1st and 2nd album by Corona were sung by Sandra Chambers a.k.a. „Sandy“). This led to the mistaken belief that „The Summer Is Magic“ was another hit song by „Corona“.

Corona is an Italian Eurodance project.

Ace of Base is a Swedish pop group, formed in 1990, originally consisting of siblings Jonas Berggren, Linn Berggren and Jenny Berggren, with Ulf Ekberg.
They achieved worldwide success following the release of their debut album Happy Nation in 1992. Later re-issued as The Sign, it was certified nine times platinum in the United States, and was the best-selling album of 1994.
One of the most successful debut albums of all time, it was the first to produce three No. 1 singles on the Billboard Mainstream Top 40 chart: „All That She Wants“, „The Sign“ and „Don’t Turn Around“.
They continued to score hit singles throughout the 1990s, with songs such as „Beautiful Life“, „Lucky Love“, „Cruel Summer“ and „Life Is a Flower“.

Culture Beat is a German Eurodance project formed in 1989 by Torsten Fenslau.
The act has gone through a number of line-up changes over the years; they achieved the most success whilst fronted by singer Tania Evans and rapper Jay Supreme.
Their 1993 single „Mr. Vain“ was a number-one hit in eleven European countries, and the act is thought to have sold more than 10 million records worldwide.
Subsequent singles „Got to Get It“ and „Anything“ were also pan-European hits, and their second album Serenity was awarded at the ECHO award for being the Best-selling German Act Abroad, with more than two million copies sold.
This also got Torsten Fenslau nominated in the same year at the Echo for being the Best Producer of the Year, who also walked away as a winner.

Ice MC (born Ian Campbell, March 22, 1965) is a British rapper who started his professional music career in Italy when he got signed to Robyx and made his debut with the single „Easy“.
He’s best known for the hit singles „Take Away the Colour“, „Think About the Way“ „and „It’s a Rainy Day.“ The Ice MC hits are most notable for being the first songs in the Eurodance genre to blend raggamuffin style rap with female singing choruses.
Italian producer and singer Roberto Zanetti (a.k.a. Robyx) and his music team produced the Ice MC hits while simultaneously producing hits for other major ’90s artists like Double You, Alexia, and Corona.

„I Can’t Stand It!“ is the debut single by the Dutch-American group Twenty 4 Seven. The single was produced by Dutch producer Ruud van Rijen and American producer/rapper/dancer Tony Dawson-Harrison (Captain Hollywood).
The first version of the single featured rap vocals from rapper Ricardo Overman (MC Fixxit). After Overman’s quick departure from the act, a new version of the single was recorded with Harrison.
